The dog is a man’s best friend, and this video proves just that. They’re the most faithful and never leave the side of the ones they love.

We Don’t Deserve Dogs.

A six-year-old Magnus the Therapy Dog proved to the world how amazing dogs really are; never leaving his human’s side during a stay in the hospital.

Brian Benson was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a condition that makes it difficult for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body.

However, his service dog remained by his side all the time during his treatment.

Benson who has been working out for 35 years believes the condition was caused by a family history of heart disease and a heart attack at a young age.

He explains that he was having chest pains, swelling in his legs, and difficulty breathing.

Fearing something was wrong, he went to the emergency room to get checked out.

The doctors decided to keep him in the hospital for three days under observation and to “run countless tests” to find out the cause of his discomfort.

Whereas, Magnus didn’t leave Brian’s side for Three Days.

He was with Brian for every waking moment, through every nerve-wracking blood test, every x-ray, every EKG, and every doctor’s exam.

He was there when he ate and slept.

Brian adopted Magnus when he was 18-months-old.

Doctors Diagnosed Brian Benson with a Serious Cardiac Condition.

The doctors discovered that Brian has a serious condition called “cardiomyopathy”, which means his heart is weak and pumping blood much harder than it should.

“Even though I’ve been working out for over 35 years, eat healthy, ran the New York City Marathon, completed various Spartan races, and trained in boxing and Krav Maga, I’m one of the rare cases where a person ‘just’ develops cardiomyopathy,” Brian wrote on Instagram.

The bond between the dog and his human is obvious.

Magnus can be seen comforting and calming Brian with kisses, cuddles, and quiet companionship — giving him exactly what he needs and when he needs it.
