Magda, a retired circus elephant, deeply mourned the death of her longtime partner, Jenny, who collapsed and passed away.
The two had performed together in Russia for over 25 years.
When Jenny passed away, he refused to let veterinarians near her for several hours, instead hugging and pushing close to her.
“In the first minutes after the tragedy, she lightly pushed her friend and tried to lift her, and then began to hug her,” news outlet Baza reported.
